Established in 1858, Sentinel has more than 150 years of technological innovation, generational print production knowledge and experience to draw upon in the world of print.

A Family of Professionals

Sentinel Printing has always been dedicated to family and quality of service. In 1984, William F. Boehmer III, a second-generation printer and life-long resident of Hempstead, Long Island, took control of Sentinel Printing. Bill believed in a hands-on approach to running the business; he could perform every task in the print shop. In the 30 years he spent in his father's business, Bill had been a pre-press (stripping table) professional, pressman, and a bindery operator. With President and CEO Glen Boehmer at the helm, these Sentinel qualities and skills have been passed to the next generation of Boehmers.

This deep and encompassing experience in the printing industry has given the leadership of Sentinel the ability to assess the latest technologies and bring customers the strategic advantages they need to make every project successful.
