Position Title: Vice President Sales

Location: Hempstead, NY

Description:  As a key member of the team, he/she works closely with the company President on big-picture initiatives and top priority client opportunities. He/she must be familiar with a wide variety of commercial print production concepts, practices and procedures. Printing knowledge and Project Management experience a must. Maintain and develop sales to meet or exceed annual objectives set by management and providing specific sales expertise and support as required.

Required Skills

  • Sells Sentinel Product Offering and Services by developing and interacting with new and existing customers.
  • Manages and grows business relations within existing accounts.
  • Develop business plan for account to meet or exceed sales, marketing and customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Interfaces with key customer executives in a professional, mutually beneficial partnership.
  • Retain and grow revenue, grow account share.
  • Introduce client to new products that match business needs.
  • Meet sales budget requirements.

Required Experience

  • Industry knowledge, both printing and procurement.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years outside sales experience, acquiring new accounts print or related industry is required.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate must be self-driven with an entrepreneurial edge, and have experience working on both small and large accounts.
  • Candidates must possess a confident personality suitable for handling cold calls and account management. Excellent presentation, organization, verbal and written communication are mandatory.
  • Candidates are expected to be able to converse fluently at all contact level with an organization (from Junior to C-level).
  • Candidates must possess and subscribe to high work and business ethics, and be extremely self motivated.
  • Ability to apply market knowledge relative to competition, market share, opportunities, etc. is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing trends, pricing and competitive programs is a must.
  • PC proficiency required.

Position Title: Client Services Manager

Location: Hempstead, NY

Description: This position performs all functions of a service center including responding to all incoming calls and emails within one hour of receipt, updating information and ensuring optimal resolution of customer inquiries. A key focus of this position is timely and effective communication to customers. This position is responsible for monitoring all production and exception reporting.

Required Skills
The successful Client Services Manager will:

  • Manage customer relationship activities and keeps management informed on progress and problems.
  • Monitor effectiveness of systems, policies and procedures and make appropriate recommendations to ensure daily operations are efficient.
  • Project Management for time sensitive orders with hard deadlines.
  • Issues follow up: Ensure that every issue reported by our clients are addressed within the timeframe defined in the Service Level Agreement. This implies liaising on a daily basis with internal staff, controlling the advancement made on the most critical ongoing issues and coordinating internal efforts if and when required.
  • Consult with internal team members, production and systems on enhancements and support utilities.
  • Interpersonal skills required.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Required Experience

  • Industry knowledge in both printing production and procurement.
  • Bachelor's degree or previous working experience in the industry 4+ years experience in a client service and/or sales related role.
  • Proven proficiency in maintaining clients, high satisfaction results and overall client advocacy.
  • Detail oriented ability to multi-task and excellent time management and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
