A Grand Opening:
Celebrating Sentinel's Solar Installation

HEMPSTEAD, NEW YORK, December 21, 2010 -- Sentinel Printing Company gathered together with clients, friends, and members of local government to celebrate Sentinel being the first commercial installation of solar panels within the Village of Hempstead.

Nassau County Office of Economic Development Director, Evette Beckett-Tuggle awarded Glen Boehmer, President of Sentinel, a Citation on behalf of his ideals and efforts to preserve our environment and use of Green technology. Hempstead Village Trustee, Perry Pettus presented Sentinel Printing Company with a Certificate of Recognition in honor the company’s exemplary path of excellence.

The event was highlighted with a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the solar installation. Throughout the event visitors had the opportunity to tour the modern print and graphics facility, as well as view online demonstrations from Charles DiStefano, Director of Alternative Energy Sources with P2P Energy Solutions (the installer of the solar project).
